42- Surging of fluid machine and surging-vibration phenomenon of metal spring

1. What is ‘surging’? It means a kind of
self-excited vibration, which is a phenomenon in which the pressure and water
level in pipelines or water tanks periodically fluctuate due to the change in
flow rate of the fluid, and the guide of the vacuum gauge/pressure gauge
installed at the inlet and outlet of the pump vibrates.
This is a phenomenon in which the
pressure and wind speed fluctuate repeatedly as a result of operation in an
unstable region when the turbo chiller or pump/fan is not suitable for the
characteristic curve (when the amount is small), and operation in this range
should be avoided as much as possible. However, in the field of vibration,
there is another 'surging; surging'.

2. What is ‘surging’? It means that the natural vibration of
the coil spring itself is induced in the high-vibration region to generate
high-frequency elastic vibration.
