동흡진기는 압축기, 펌프나 파이프시스템, 탱크, 냉각장치, 왕복동설비 등에 발생한 심각한 공진상태의 진동을 감소하는데 아주 효과적이므로 트러블슈팅이나 설계나 건설현장의 장치나 구조에도 아주 빨리 즉각적 적용이 가능하다.

공진을 줄이는 방법- 동흡진기를 설치한다.

인간은 진동을 줄이는 방법(스프링, 고무, 코르크, 공기, 마찰 등)을 여럿 고안해 냈지만 본체 대신 움직여서 본체의 진동을 줄여주는 동흡진기도 있다는 것을 보여주기 시작한다. 이 장치에 대한 사례와 작동목표는 이렇게 설명한다.
