BISOPE series 1- motion sickness
In the past, I was very ignorant about
vibrations and noises on the road and automobiles. Cars were vibrating and
noisy, and road conditions were rough and winding. If we had to remember the
pain, of course, there was the smell of oil from the car and the pain with many
passengers, but the most painful thing seems to be the memory
of 'sickness' first.
Vibration
and motion sickness pain
It can be assumed that most of the factors
for motion sickness are related to the vehicle body, speed, and road condition.
However, high vibration does not necessarily cause motion sickness, and
exposure to vibration for a long time does not make motion sickness worse. As a
person on a transport machine (car, ship, airplane), under certain
circumstances, motion sickness rapidly and painfully made it difficult for the
stomach and brain. This is the situation.
Depending on individual characteristics,
motion sickness is generally sensitive and proportional to the vertical direction. It is also proportional to the
'acceleration magnitude' of the vibration. The frequency ranges from 0.1 to 0.5
Hz, with a particularly sensitive peak around 0.167 Hz (the most sensitive). This
is a regular vertical vibration that repeats once every 2 to 10 seconds, and
the most similar motion is similar to the state of moving vertically when
boarding a small ship. Even airplanes can have regularity when passing through
air currents, and vehicles become more similar when a lot of people are on
board (the natural frequency is lowered). On the other hand, railroad cars are
not very close to motion sickness because the condition of the wheels and the
road surface causes high frequency friction. As such, the human body's sensors
(six senses) are sensitive, but they do not have a wide area and are not accurate.
In addition, according to statistical data, 95% of motion sickness will be
acclimatized within 5 days. Key! Motion sickness, vibration, acceleration,
frequency
