17- Advantages of TBM and CBM (Conservation Engineering of Time-Based Concept
and State-Based Concept)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TBM, CBM
TBM is one of the PM (Planned Maintenance) maintenance, for
example, once a year, after 2 million km of driving, after 30,000 operating
hours, etc. means
This is usually planned by the production support team,
public affairs team, maintenance team, etc. The maintenance cycle is very
important in terms of reconfirming the normal and stable operation of the
facility, even though there may be unnecessary maintenance, as the plan for the
most optimal efficiency is established based on industrial engineering statistics.
However, when re-testing the equipment,
unstable stabilization is required just like when the
equipment was first introduced, and depending on the level of maintenance and
the completeness of the manual, bad moments are experienced.
So, the best way is to limit periodic maintenance as
much as possible, to set a separate maintenance period while looking at the
condition, and to arrange only the necessary parts. This is the concept of condition-based
and predictive maintenance. These PdM (Predictive, predictive maintenance) and
condition-based maintenance (CBM) have many advantages. will
play a large role.
However, these two preventive maintenance techniques,
such as time conservation and state conservation, do not select one, but complement
each other's weaknesses by merging each other to complement each other's
weaknesses. In fact, this is the method adopted by large-scale factories with
optimum efficiency.
